Subject: 35's on '98 2WD???? IP: Logged
Message: Next on my, who knows how long, list of mods on my '98 RC 2WD... I was thinking of going with the Performave Accessories 3" and the FabTech 3". I know that 33's would fit, since FabTech says that 32's will fit with just their 3". My question is, can I put 35's under my Dak with both of these kits. I already had planned on switching over to 4.56's too, so the Dak shouldn't have too much trouble trunning some 35" sneakers. :-) Thanks, if you help me.
Later,
'98 3.9 RC... A few mods... ;-)
'88 340 RC... I'll never tell... Okay, I might... ;-)

Message: No way. I tried it. It isn't going to happen without a lot of cutting. Even with my 33x12.5's I had to do some trimming. If you do make it work I want to see the pics. Greg

Message: Thanks Greg,
I was kinda afraid of that. Oh well. I just went out to one of my TSL/SX 35x15.50's that I have off of my CJ7, rolled it up next to the Dak, and I'm not sure if it would look right with just 6" of lift. I'd probably go with 12.50's instead of 15.50's anyways for clearance issues. How do those 33's look on your Dak. Do you know of someone with the lift you have and I want that has pics? RC's if you know of them. Thanks again.

Message: The 33x12.5's look great. These trucks really aren't made to go higher with the steering that Dodge put in them. I'd show you pics if this site would ever put them in my profile. I really don't know the difference between the SLT's and the RC's. Greg
