Message: I'm just wondering if someone can explain to me that if there's companies out there that can make 2 inch drop spindles for our dakotas, why can't they make 2 inch lift spindles. It seems like a really cheap reliable way to me.

Message: They can. It's all about supply and demand...in this case probably a lack of demand. If the market is not substantial enough, they don't want to put forth the engineering effort because they won't see much of a profit. I would suggest doing a little research ie: if they made one for your year, how many other years would it also fit(?) then personally contact the mfg who makes a drop spindle for your rig and inquire (nag them) about making a lift spindle. An example: I was able to get the fine folks at Glassworks Unlimited to produce fenders for the Gen I & IIs once I presented them with the fact the same fenders are used on `87 -`96 Dakotas.
Good luck!

Message: Just take your drop spindels and turn them upside down. That should do it.

Message: NO! Inside out is wrong. Turn them back-to-front.
