Message: i recently put in two inch lift blocks and cranked the bars in my 02 QC the other day i noticed a squeeking noise that sounded pretty consistant with the driveshaft, it goes away when im not applying power and comes back when i apply power, can really hear it when you creep up a hill and something is along side the truck (like a parked car) to reflect the sound back and i think im getting a vibration at like 60 mph, would the 2 inch block change the angle of the driveshaft to blow a u joint?? or might it be coincidence, my 02 has about 33k on it.

Message: Sounds like a u-joint to me. Have you:
1. Tried greasing them?
2. Spraying the cup areas with something like WD-40, 5/56, or any other spray lubricant?
3. Taken each driveshaft out and manually inspected the joints?
Try those.

Message: If the blocks you put in aren't tapered they can throw off the drive angle of the joint. 2 inches shouldn't have hurt it either way. Sounds like a fluke to me. If they aren't tapered you can buy a tapered shim to use that will correct the drive angle.
