Message: Hello
I have an 02 Dakota with the Rancho 3" lift on it and have run into a problem with the lower front shock mounting bolts being seized into the casting. One of the bolts broke off and the other broke when the shop tried to tighten it. They were having a heck of a time getting the bolts out of the cast mounting bracket.
Have any of you guys run into this problem? They finally just drilled out the bolt because even the ez out wouldn't budge it.

Message: IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SHOP WAS USING THERE AIR TOOLS TO PUT ON YOU SHOCKS. OVERTIGHTNED AND BROKE THE BOLT.

Message: Yep. Air tools are good for loosening and removing nuts and bolts, but final tightening should always be done by hand with a torque wrench.
