Message: I'm new to this suspension, so I don't know evertthing about it. I heard you can raise your front end a little by tightening the torsion bar. Well I did, and now I don't think the two sides are even. I'm measuring from the tire to the top of the wheel well, and Everytime I move the truck to a more even ground, I'm coming up with different measurements on each side. How can I get these the same on both sides.
Oh, and do I need to lift the front end up with a jack as I tighten the torsion bars?
Message: If it didn’t happen to me I wouldn’t have believed it either. Yea, just a few hours and the left bar was tweaked enough to have the left side of the truck sitting almost an inch lower. But that was an extreme example; my suspension was at full flex. Any more and the right rear tire would have been off the ground.
