 Subject: solid axle swap shops

ok i've read all the info i could find on this site and a few others and i thinkn i'm gunna try to do the solid axle swap probly with a dana 44 and a ford 9 inch rearend out of a junked 70's ford bronco or f150. my real question is: does anyone know any good fabrication shops in the houston texas area that might be willing to tackle this axle swap? i don't mind how long it would take. i'm going to be away at college for a year anyway.
the shop needs to be able to put in a transfer case as my truck is 2wd right now.

before you start just know that it's going to be big and i mean big bucks if you get a shop to do it, any chance you have access to a shop and some tools,that way you can do it your self. also what year is your truck if it's a gen 2 than i can help you through it, i just finished mine in Sept.

yea i really liked working on my last truck but it was an old "beater". and i've never done anything this complicated before. my truck is a 2002 quad cab with the 4.7 L V8. i have an automatic trany. i can weld, cut and work with metal. i've built or helped build a lot of stuf out of wood and i have built the bumper for my old truck as well as quite a few modifications for it. this just seemed like something i might want a pro to do. i would do as much as i can myself, but i know very little about drive trains. o by the way i do have a trailer to haul this thing around on if i get partway through and have to pay to have it done. but i want to talk to a local shop before i start thinking about anything.
