Subject: Tire Size - Stock 2WD Suspension
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 2000 Dak, 4.7, club cab, (15x8 wheels), with stock suspension, although I may end up installing Fabtec 2" springs in front.

My question is this: Can 31x10.5x15 tires be used on this truck without rubbing? I am sure at least a few of you have tried this tire swap. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
MD

Yeah, you can go 31's. I run 31's on my stock 2001 2wd.

SoCalDakota has pics of his 2wd running 31's.

Go to this thread and you'll see the links to his pics.

No problem. With the 2" lift you can easily fit 32's. 3" lift and you'll be riding with 33's, but with some rubbing.

Have fun!

Thanks, Hillbilly. I'm going to have the springs installed in a couple of weeks. Either 265/70/15's or the 31's will go on soon thereafter.
