Message: How much lift will I need to put 31x10.50x16 on a 2003 Quad Cab 2 wheel drive. I will be using 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II's.

Message: You shouldn't need any lift to run 31's. I have a 01 2wd and run 31's with no lift, no rubbing. You can run 33's with a 3" body lift.

Message: depending on what rim with what backspacing ............8" with 3.25 back you'll fit 31x 10.5 with 7" 4"back 32x11.5 both need a 3" lift either body or suspension , I have a 01 quad 3" fabtech with ae 589's 15x 8 with 31x10.5 .......

Message: Yeah, I've got some BFG All Terrains 31x10.50 for the stock 15" wheels. Only 4,000 miles on them. I got the 3" fabtech and now want 32's I was looking to get around 400 bucks from someone in the local South Orange County area.

Message: I had these 31's on my truck 98 CC 5.2 completely stock and had no rubbing at all even at full lock.

Message: Here, I've added pics. I have had these tires on my truck coming up on 4 months now. These pictures were taken before I put on the 3" suspension lift. I put the lift on 3 weeks ago.

Message: I dont understand. Obviously you did it, but why would places like Fabtech list a 3in susp lift to run 32x11.50s if you can run a 31 with no lift? Im just confussed. Sounds like alot of people are... Later guys. Thanks for the links too.

Message: I don't know about those companies, sounds like they must be screwing people to make a buck. It's really easy to find out if the tire will fit. You put it on the truck and see. Not being a smartass, but go find a 2wd Dak, and put a 31 on it. It'll fit, no prob. No reason for people to be confused.
You can run 33's with a 3" body lift, if you didn't know. My buddy has one.

Message: I have a 1990 2wd and I know damn well a 31 wouldnt fit on a stock susp. I have 5 ins of lift and run 31s. I need a new rim so I can run 33x10.50s now that I have done big feder trimming. I have trouble with frame rub and use to with fender rub on the front. Later.

Message: Well, I don't know about the older Daks. 31's might not fit them, I don't know. I know they'll fit Gen III's, just as SoCalDak shows. Wish I had some way to show pics of my truck. But it looks just like his, but mine is silver.
