Message: Just to clarify, regearing the differentials doesn't change the speedometer. In order to correct the problem you have to get a new speedmoter gear from an aftermarket place or the factory. These are located in the side of the tranny/transfer case as I remember at least on my old cherokee it was.

Message: What inch lift do you have on your sick ride and did you put it on youself? I have a stock '95 4x4 dakota, what inch lift do you think I need to put 33" tires on it?

Message: Minimum:
2" body lift (various manufacturers) AND 4" suspension lift (Trailmaster). The suspension lift requires aftermarket wheels (limited suppliers) to clear the upper control arm. I know, I have been down this road.
