Subject: PA 3" lift ~ 32x11.5 or 33x12.5 tires? IP: Logged
Message: I am installing the 3" PA lift on a 2001 4.7L Auto 3.55 quad 4X4. I would really like the BFG A/T 33x12.5 but would be happy with the 32x11.5. I don't really want to tweak the torsion bars and I will be towing so I figure 32s will work best. Anyone disagree? Someone help me make up my mind! Will the 32s look tough or too small? Will I be happier with the 33s? I'm lost!

Message: Hey big_quad. I've been rackin my brain too as to what I'm gonna do with my truck. I know what I want, I just have to work up the nerve to do it. There are a bunch of people on here running the 33x12.50's. That would be the tire I am planning on going with. And I've got the same setup as you except I've got an '02. But I don't do much towing.
If you do enough searching, you'll find pleanty of pics with the different setups.

Message: I've got 3:55's and a 318.. i towed with my 32's and it was a dog.. I can just imagine what it would be like with 33's. If it's not that heavy of a load you'll be ok...

Message: I decided 32! I figured it's better safe than sorry and I like the look of 32s. The 32s maker the truck look higher with "more lift". Anyway, once I can add a suspension lift I will be more than happy to lower the gears and higher the tires :)

Message: I just received my body lift today and I'm gonna order my tires tomorrow so they'll be here for when the lift is installed this weekend.
Has anyone ever ran the Mastercraft Courser MT's?
Are they worth cost savings against the quality of going with BFGs or Goodyear??
I've been doing searches but can't find any info.
Thanks,
Cuffy
