Message: I have a 99' Club Cab, AT, 4x4. What problems can you encounter? Does 4x4 shift lever really needed to be extended or does it have to be welded. On stock rims what is the max. tire size can I run? Thank You.

Message: The 4x4 shifter has to be extended. If you don't want to cut and weld in the extension piece that comes with the kit, you can do what I and many others did and just buy some all-thread and a coupler nut and extend it. (much easier) You should be able to run 33x12.50s without much problem on the stock rims. You will probably have a little rubbing on the frame at full turn due to the high backspacing of the factory wheels, but not too much.

Message: I don't think anybody has had any real serious problems on here as long as you follow the instructions and make sure everything is tight and fits good. You've gotta watch the brake lines on the driver's side by the a-arms. But that's about it. Your shift lever DOES need to be extended, but not necessarily welded (like the instructions say). What I, and a lot of others, did was go to Home Depot and buy a piece of all-thread and a coupler nut and extend the top of the lever after you take off the shift knob - really easy!
As for tires on stock rims, you can fit 33x12.5's on the stock 15" rims - it'll look great!
