Subject: Black Rockcrawlers available IP: Logged
Message: In the past, i've wanted to have black rockcrawlers on my dak but they didn't have my bolt pattern. Well recently i went to an off-road shop in Monroeville, Pa and they had a catalog from American Racing Wheels and they now offer those black steel rims for our dakotas.

Message: They aren't "Rock Crawlers". They are just American Racing Datonas. They look like Rock Crawlers but they have that stupid ass red and blue pinstripe on them. I have them on my 2002 and after awhile I got used to the stripes. They have a 5 inch BS and you can get them from Summit Racing for 39.99 each plus 7.50 for all 4 for handling. No shipping charge. Thats a 15X8 FYI.

Message: I got them last year around October.
Call them on the phone. They will give you better prices based on what they are going to charge later like on a sale or something.
When I ordered my PA body lift it was listed for 200 bucks but the dude on the phone gave it to me for 175.
It's worth talking to a live person with those guys.

Message: Thanks Dan. Your truck looks great too.
Scott I'm running 33X12.50/15 BFG Mud Terrain's on 15X8 American Racing Datona's.
I have a 3" Performance Accesories body lift my friend and I put on ourselves in about 10 hours.
There is/was some minor rubbing on the fender wells that was easily fixed with a razer knife. Can't even tell.
I also tightened my torsion bars to lift the front 1 inch to make it more even with the back. There's only about 1 inch difference now. Not to noticable.

Message: It's been a while...well i got the rims and have em on now....they indeed were 5 inch backspaced and we had a bit of trouble getting em on. They weren't hitting the fabtech arms but they did come in contact with the brake line. We relocated the brake lines and they fit like a beaut. No more wheel spacers...no more problems :) And they look damn good :)
I agree with the red and blue stripes.......will cover it up soon.
