Subject: Non-FabTech susp lifts for 97 2wd? IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone make a decent suspension lift kit for the GenIII 2wd extended cabs? I have a 97 v6 and want to be aware of ALL options. Just trying to get 32x10.5r15s in safely/comfortably w/out rubbing and trying to do it with a suspension kit ONLY. Thanks in advance!

Message: Christopher, thanks for the tip. Are you sure that is the correct URL? I tried and came up with a domain name for sale webpage. Double-check and let me know please. I like the Fabtech, but want to be sure I know all of the options before I do this, instead of finding out afterward.

Message: I don't know about fitting 32's under that 2" fabtech lift, have you done it yourself? I called fabtech on their 2" suspension lift because I have a 98 club cab with a V8 and they said the 2" lift will not work because the springs are for the 4cyl and 6cyl not the 8.

Message: I have the 2" lift coils and am running 32" BFG's on my 97 reg cab, manual shift, V8 dak. They rub a little bit, but only on the frame. The propper backspacing would fix that. Dont listen to those guys at the factories... He11, look at thier websites, they say the biggest tire you can fit is a 30" with thier 2" kit. When was the last time you ever saw a dak on thier site running 33's with the 3 and 3 lift?? they dont advertise it cause its extreme (to them).

Message: I dont have any recent pics yet, but I'm hoping to get some in the near future. You'll be able to see them at www.geocities.com/dodgeit_97
that site is under construction and is far from completed.
