Subject: Exhaust system IP: Logged
Message: I just bought a 2000 Dakota R/T and have installed a Borla cat back system on it. It sounds great but not as loud as my 91 Z28 (with cats removed). I want to put in a straight pipe in place of the cat converter but the obvious area of cocern is regarding the o2 sensors. Is there an adapter that can be placed in between the o2 connecter and the factory harness to provide a false/adjusted signal to the computer so the truck will run right and not throw any codes like on the LS1 Camaros/Firebirds/Vettes ???? Just trying to figure out how to do this and I appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks alot.

Message: I thought that it would throw a code or screw with the computer if the rear o2 sensor reads the same as the front????
