Message: I am not having any luck either. Most Speed shops laugh at me when I ask for a Robert Shaw stat. They pull out a catalog from 1989 & say this is the last book Robert Shaw has ever sent. Most think they were bought out by VST or somebody else. Of course Mopar doesn't have one either!

Message: weezer... huh? follow the link, there's your robert shaw t-stat.
I couldn't find RS tstats anywhere either so I bought Napa's tstat which appears to be a heavy duty higher quality stant stat. Never had any problems with it and seem to open and close right @ 180.

Message: I have a genuine, brand new, in the package, collectible Robert Shaw GT755-180 t-stat that needs a home, as the Dak in which it was to reside is no more (not at my house, anyway)...it could come to your house for $11 if anyone was interested. It has a new Stant gasket for a companion. larryf1952@toast.net if you'd like to adopt it. Also have a brand new, never installed NAPA brass cap and rotor for a Gen III 3.9 V6...$15 with free ground shipping!

Message: Ya i too have been looking for robert shaw and stant in my area. Autozone no longer carries RS, I spoke to somone at there corporate offices about it. Also Oriley's no longer does stants. The parts guy was also pissed about that, he said that stant went out of buisiness or got bought out but the only way to get one would be old inventory if your lucky.
From what i have heard the Napa ones are about the best you can get localy. The Murray brand that oriley's carries now is crap.

Message: He's looking for the 180 tstat for the 4.7 engine, which (as I've found) has seemingly dissappeared. The part #45358 and 65358 is for the other engine sizes--I called Stant directly and they said there was nothing for the 4.7. Even stock 195s are about $25 now. . .Every parts place online or otherwise doesn't seem to have'em, either, Parts America--not for the 4.7, ditto for the flowkooler link and Robert Shaw.
Haven't tried NAPA yet. . .the search continues.
