 Subject: a/c blows hot air always

about a week ago the a/c cooled fine,now nothing but hot air.the low pressure line shows a reading
in the green,the clutch is not cycling on at all.
if i jumper out the slot the clutch relay plugs
in it comes on and stays on.if i unplug the connector on the accumulator and jumper the connector the clutch cycles on and off.the fuses
and relays check ok. any ideas.help?

Sounds like you are low on gas and the low pressure switch is keeping the clutch from engaging.
When the compressor is not working, the pressure equalizes in the system. You could be getting a "green" reading on the low side. However, you will be getting the same pressure reading on the high side if the compressor is not working.
I would try adding some gas. Hopefully yours is a newer model with the newer cheap gas instead of the R 12.

last summer I had to replace my condensor ( runnin through the new bridge construction zone 4X a day and way too many rocks flung into the grill). the A/C pump was making a funny clicking noise every time it cycled, and it did not get nearly as cold as it used to after the new condensor was installed. The LOW side pressure was at the very top of the range, but the gage I had could not check the high side. I found an old R12 gage set that also had a high side pressure gage and modified the connectors on it so I could use it on a R134 system. Guess what ? even though the Low side was at the high end of it's range the High side was at the low end. I put 14 oz. can of 134 into the thing and instantly the clicking noise went away, the output temp got much colder and the pressure on the low side STAYED THE SAME. The high side pressure went to the upper half of its range which means that I was more fully but not over charged.
Charlie's Dodge in Maumee did the original replacement and apparently charged me for a full recharge and only did it half way.
You might have a simular situation in yours, the low looks good but the high is very low and all you need is a refill.

You may want to check your backup light fuse. The fin sensor in the AC box is biased by that circuit and will not turn it on if power is not available to the backup lights.
