Nothing done yet. Got it for a steal on Ebay. I read thru enough threads to get me really confused. Simple intake/exhaust mods or just skip it and go straight to the Super? I have $2500 to burn...but I want the improvement to be very noticable for that...any opinions? Save the $$ and just do the simple intake/exhaust?..

You're lucky to have the 2000 4.7 - the only one that can get the Leach PCM flash. That and the Jeep HO cams really woke my truck up - now have to modulate the power not to send the rubber up in smoke on a hard launch. That and a ported 68mm TB with a K&N drop in filter gave me a reasonably quick truck that still looks stock and would leave you with a few $ for handling or appearence mods.

Save up for the super. Research the new Paxton or a Kenne Bell. The 4.7 likes the boost. Have a leak test done first to make sure the engine is still reasonably tight.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Magnaflow catback, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.

I would wait for the super. I got the Kenne Bell. Very nice but a little more pricey than some of the others. 2000 4.7 auto Qaud Cab. You will not be disapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
