I was wondering if its worth moving the IAT sensor that everyone says to move 6" from the TB?? Even KRC Performance recommneds it but my question is what is the proper procedure and will it make the truck ping at all. By the way I have a 1999 RC R/T with the following mods: Mopar Headers, Mopar Cold Air Intake, Mopar PCM, MBRP Catback Exhaust & I have a 52MM Throttle Body & M1 Intake On Order!! It will Be here this week, I will let you know what it does.

yes, move the ait censor into the cold air intake that you have. it's on thr pass, side in the intake manifold, in the top front, it screws in. screw it out, plug the hole and stretch the wire as far as you can, and put it in the cold air intake their. it will sence cold ,instead of hot like when it was in the manifold and give you a little more rich on the injection. it won't HURT anything either. .........RON

You won't likely notice any difference. We all move it but really nothing is noticable...just the theory that it should help.
