 Subject: Electric Fan

My 2002 Dakota has an electric fan, and the old standard fan hanging off the water pump. Why is this? Silly question, but are both needed?

they use the pusher electric for a back up... I would pull the engine driven fan and the electric pusher and replace them with a Viper electric... solves all the probs plus you gain some HP.
