Subject: HO intake torque specs IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know what the 4.7 HO intake torque specs are, how many inch pound or foot pounds to tighten them. Or does it even matter? Also the throttle body specs also. Thanks

Message: this is more of an asumption than a fact, just keep that in mind.
The cam install calls for 100 inch pounds because it is going into aluminum.
I would have to assume that to be the same for the intake manifold and TB.
Hopefully someone else will reply with facts.

Message: Thanks guys, 105 inch pounds sounds right, anyone know about the throttle body? Demon Dakota, will the intake manifold wiggle out of the engine compartment without removing any accessories?

Message: I suppose it can, but I took my entire top end apart when I did my swap, so...I'm not the best to ask. I was just bored one weekend and decided to take it all apart :)

Sorry, too many childens books.
I posted on this a few weeks ago.
DON'T follow the manual directions, they'll have you taking everything off!
LEAVE the fuel rails, a/c, alternator, etc.
Look for my post and read thru that, I did it right after I did my intake on my 4.7 to HO.
Good luck
