I own both a '99 GC and '01 Dak with the 4.7. At a minimum there is a weight difference. I think the Jeep will out perform the Dak but I won't tell my wife that!!! The Dak is better able to haul and tow more and they both get comparable milage. If you are not racing them it is not likely you would see the difference.
