im looking to make my own air intake tube but dont know what the part# is to fit over the end of a 3" PVC pipe. Also where do you get robert shaw 180 degree thermostat. Any help would be appreciated.

also you might want to try the ABS plastic tubes instead of PVC...they have less chance of catching fire and poisoning your lungs...

As for your intake, PVC will not support a flame on it's own and will self-estinguish. If it does burn with the rest of your truck however you will have more to worry about than PVC fumes. Ever see a car burn? THICK black smoke. Not a pretty site. I would stay away from ABS personally as it is brittle. It is basically styrene (ya know, the clear disposable plastic cups your would squeeze and they would crack top to bottom) with a modifier in it.
