Message: What needs to be done to my 01 R/T cc to be well into the 12s. I have 1.7 rockers, pph headers, 52mm throttle body, Intense Performance cold air intake, M1, and flowmaster 40 series dumped. I want to get the vortec s-trim. What else do I need to do other than the supercharger to get into the mid 12s. I know I have to do other stuff. I don't want nitrous either. I want the power all the time.

Message: Assuming you can get a good tune on that supercharger, you have enough there to push into the 12s on slicks. A couple of others are already there with stock heads and cam.

I see you have the paxton novi. What do you run with your mods? I'm thinking of selling the 1.7 RRs and going with 1.6 RRs and getting a cam. Could I run the KRC 220 with the B&G flash. Also how would a blower respond to the KRC220? Thanks for the replies.

Message: The B&G flash is incompatible with the blower. I don't think a KRC220 is necessary for a daily driver. You can go plenty fast with less cam and not have the low vacuum issues.

Message: What cam do you recommend? Is a cam and 2.02 R/T heads compatible with the B&G flash? Also what would happen if I did put the blower on later with the flash? Thanks for the help. Sorry for the questions.

Message: Brad, blower setups running at full boost can only tolerate 24-26 degrees full advance, depending on how aggressive you want to get. The B&G M1 reaches 40 degrees advance ~2400 rpms if that gives you an idea. The timing map is also complex, meaning it doesn't just ramp up in a linear fashion.
Cam and 2.02 heads will be fine with the flash. If you need recommendations, I would contact Dan Arcand at www.fastman.com If you go with the same cam and head combo that I have(Dan did mine), I could offer you a custom flash that is optimally tuned for that setup. Not going to find a better PCM fit than that anywhere(shameless plug!).
