Subject: drag rules question? IP: Logged
Message: Are there any type of rules against what type of tire you can run to stay in the street legal class? I mean can I buy some 26X11.5X15 hoosier slicks and run street legal. For some reason I've got it in my head that you can't run slicks in street legal class. Anyone know officially? Also, are there any slicks that I can get for about $100 each for decent quality?

Message: It's my understanding as well that if you run in "street", the tires must be DOT approved. There are some good DOT approved slicks available.
