Message: I believe the pipes coming out of the MBRP muffler are dual 2.25"s. Since it's a single in/dual out muffler I'm not sure if this really has any shortcomings, even dual 2.25"s should easily outflow the air coming in from the single 2.5" or 3" inlet pipe and be more free-flowing than stock by a long shot.
The only reason the narrower pipes would become a factor is if you scrapped the single in/dual out muffler and ran true duals all the way back, most people use dual 2.5"s in that configuration.
