Message: So how fast do you think it will be?
It will be about the size of a S10 but almost as wide as the 1500.
It will have a 290hp@5200 & 325@4000 engine with maybe 3.73 rear end possibly a 4:10? Weight? I guess not heavier than a Dakota if not less due to size.

Message: I saw it at the Dallas Auto show...it had a retro look and looked like it'd be meaner than it actually is...when I heard 290 I wasn't very impressed. Our R/T's have more torque than them. Don't think it'll be a major threat...looked too futuristic, its probably just a concept, it'll be interesting to see if it actually makes it into production. Kinda like the Sidewinder project that got terminated.

Message: I think it'll be pretty heavy considering it has a convertible mechanism. The styling is retro, but in a GM move that's all too common now a days they got the crappy retro styling. I mean seriously, look at the new Silverado, GM beat it with an ugly stick. The same ugly stick they use to beat the Avalanche. Every Chevy car in production right now is a disgrace to its heritage except the Vette. And look at the Ponitac Aztec and the Buick Rendezvous (any Buick actually). Fugly, fugly, fugly. End rant.

That's what I call curves, see the wind shield angle, that's perfect, unlike the 5th Gen. where is almost 3 foot long and 1 foot high. My Company gives us a GM discount where I would pay 2% over GM employee price on any GM brand and Mitsubishi too. But there is nothing I would buy! I wonder if there Sliverado sales have dropped due to the ugly stick bashing up the front end style for the new year? LOL

Message: Now I do think Bel Air concept could be nice, but they need to leave out the dumb ass turbo button! Which it only increases the timing and fuel curve, but doesn't have any type of turbo. It does have a nice I-5 with 315hp, so they say.

Message: Now I don't think they all look bad, come on. The Monte Carlo does look nice, as well as the grand-am. But the stupidest thing they ever did was get rid of the the firebird and the camaro. Now those were some bad ass cars right there, I Tell You Whut! Shame, Shame. But overall you're right, just what in the hell happend to the slverado?
