Subject: MSD Ignition IP: Logged
Message: If i was to buy a Msd 6A could i use the 8mm jba wires with it or should i get the msd wires, or should i just go out and buy the jacbos kit. What would you guys do?

Message: If you have a stock motor, I'd advise you to put your money somewhere else...or even in the bank, which would be the smartest place to stash it. Aftermarket ignitions are of little or no value until you really get into some serious modifications. They can cause more problems than they solve. If you're just starting out, I'd put this one way at the bottom of my list.

Message: i have an msd6a, taylor wires....stay away from jacobs...ick. tried the nitrous mastermind...its a p.o.s....msd had been around forever...jacobs is like 10 years old..cant argue with so many happy customers...i had no problem with the mds 6a, i DID have trouble with the ignition retard box however....stock computer didnt agree with it...buy the harness with it, its worth the 5 bucks...good luck

Message: I just bought a cam a nd a 2100 stall from krs, plus i have a intake and a 180 stat, its either msd or a m1, where is the cheapest place to buy a m1 anyways

Message: jeremy-krcperformance.com, they machine it and include the freeze plugs and bushings and all other peripherals youll need for a clean install...havent bought anything from em yet, but ive never heard anything bad...with a cam and stall, youd probably be better off with the intake..
