Message: I know there have been a lot of inquiries about the m-1 but heres another one along the same lines. I have a 4x4 5.2 chipped, knn, exhaust, shift kit, and am planning on cam soon. do I want the dual plane or single 2- barrel or 4, drawbacks with each?? thanks in advance. Its for christmas so i need to figure out soon. Part numbers would be a bonus....

Message: No aftermarket dual plane intake manifold for a fuel injected Magnum motor. There are "modified" beer barrels, but nothing else. If you plan on a cam and have a chip to increase your rev limiter then the 2bbl M1 woudl be good for you.

Message: 4 bbl M1 : you need lots mods ,rebuilt motor , shift at
6000+ rpm.
2bbl M1 : use with large or XL turtle (helps low end , my even be better than stock at 2000 rpm), PCM , R/T cam or 1.7 RR , HP valve springs , shift at 5200-5500 rpm, air gap design to run cool
Mod beer keg : too much volume for good throtle responce , does not breath well at high rpm ( 4400+) ,bad pan gasket design , water heated so it heats intake air, heated by oil also heats intake air.

Message: dual plane manifolds are for carborated engines not FI magnums.
