Message: Remember the guy selling the timing advance kit on Ebay?
Some other guy on ebay selling a performance chip put a link to instructions do do the original mod (timing advance kit) warning shoppers not to buy it because it is a 50 cent resistor from radio shack with instructions. Has anyone tried this one yet? Here is the link.

Message: At this point go online to teh speedtweaks site and jsut build an IAT box. Very easy. I just did mine this weekend. Granted it is not going to help much over the winter but come spring it should help...

Message: Dak 3,
nice site.
Chris,
I have the Speedtweaks Iat daj., usually off. When it's on, after a time, is trips the MIL, turn it off, after a while, the MIL goes off! w/o resetting! Bernd has always tialked about the prob. on the 2001's, like mine. I wonder if this resister would not trip the MIL?

Message: This resistor does the same thing as the IAT adjuster with the exception of it changing with temperature... I was trying to think of a way to wire my IAT so that I could either run the IAT teh way it is now OR tweak it with a potentiometer in parrallel to it... Now you got me thinking...

Message: I have Bernd's IAT Adjuster, $30, never had a problem with it or the MIL light. Ran with it one for hours last summer in the SoCal heat, gave me oodles of power...and no light came on.

Chris
PS. on my 2000 it does not trip a code if I switch the box with the engine running.
