Subject: calculating 1/4 mile times? IP: Logged
Message: my best in the 1/8th is 9.87, if I multiply by
1.56, that tells me I am in the 15.3 sec range?
does this sound right? or is there a better way
to calculate? I just want to know approx what I
will run in the 1/4

Message: I use this : http://www.rx7.org/Robinette/et.htm
use the WHEEL HP
make sure you know your weight too.
I had a dyno , and went to the track and weighed my truck. I had to lower my weight on the calculator a bit to get the right #s .... so it seems pretty accurate to me

Message: Compare it with my 1/8 times (1/4 mile track)
1/8 vs 1/4
9.306 = 14.462
9.43 = 14.713
9.795 = 15.118
9.88 = 15.223 @ 92.16 *look familier*
So I would say your calculation is close.
