I have this problem that happens when i try connecting either my jet chip or the venom 400 so i know its not the chips. When I connect either chip the idle surges from 500 to 1500 rpm's and the truck misses and if you don't baby the gas pedal the truck will die. When this happens the check engine light comes on and the computer won't let my scan tool read the code....then when i unplug the chip the code goes away and it isn't stored so i can't tell what it is. I'm thinking it has something to do with the aftermarket holley tb and the tps sensor. Ever since I had the holley tb on...when the engine is cold for the first 10 minutes after the truck is cranked it will die if you stomp on the gas. It you rev it hard past 2500 rpm's it will come down to 500 and try to pick back up but then it will die. This problem goes away after the truck has ran a few minutes. I have to be careful pulling onto the hwy after initial crankup cause the truck will die if you don't baby it. The tps voltage is .7v. The same thing happens with the sensor completely unplugged. Any ideas before I lose my mind???

Yea, return the chip, they're useless. Lynn "yates-in-de" was kind enough to post actual dyno data that prove you lose at WOT. I beat head on a brick wall for three weeks wondering why my 4.7 02 QC pulled like crazy at part throttle and sucked at WOT off the line. Use the search utility.
