Subject: Driveshaft Vibration? IP: Logged
Message: Aighty, heres the scoop. About 2 1/2 weeks ago i had my tranny tuned (changed oil and filter). The tech told that there was an enormouse amount of metal in the pan. In the mean time i asked him to check the u-joints. I got the truck back and i felt a bad vibration strating at 35mph and ending at 42mph. I decide to get the tranny redone. I get the truck back, the vibration is still there but not as bad. Im think the first time i had the u-joints checked they removed the driveshaft and did somethin without tellin me. When i had the tranny rebuilt they did the same, but when they put it back they repacked the u-joint so the vibration is not as bad. Whats goin on, are my u-joints goin bad?
