I know this debate has been going on for quite awhile, but I'm looking for anyone with some experience with the new fipk for the 4.7.

I have a 2001 4.7 QC, 4x4 and love it, but it's time for an upgrade and I can't decide between the Intense performance Cold Air z-tube system or the new K&N.

Any suggestions would be great.

I have been looking throught the flucking posts and his question was never answered.

There were two or three "I'm going to buy it/get it this weekend" but no one has answered whether or not it's worth the money.

Just looking for opinions.

I had really good luck with Volant.

www.volantperformance.com

Their application was $215 from www.truckperformance.com but there are prolly other places to buy it. I think it's a bit less than the Z-tube, plus it's about 3 3/4" diamter, so the 70 mm TB mates right up to it. I KNOW it's less than a 4" Z-Tube costs......
