Bernd or CW or anyone who can help,
Will this combo work if nothing were to be done? Please understand this project has already cost me well over 2500 and rising. Funds are definately getting very tight. Please give as many facts as I can use!

I'm having a KRC 210(comp cam 210/220-512/512 112), m1 4 barrel, 1.6 rockers, p.rods, springs, mopar pcm, double roller timing chain, and transgo s.kit installed.

Current mods: IAT adjuster, MSD 6a and wires, Cap & Rotor, full exhaust, cold air intake.

Will this run with stock heads w/ heavy duty springs? I have been told otherwise. NO power gain

Will I have a fuel problem? Someone has told me yes, major problems.

Can I tow? I have been told no.

I talked to a guy running a high lift cam and had nothing but trouble. Since installing cam he has had to replace the Heads w/ rt head running 2.02 intake valves. Using the split-second controller to assist in fuel curve.

You'll have a low-end "bog" unless you can bump up the timing a bit from the 1200-1800rpm range.

Yes, it will run on the stock heads with the correct valve springs but you're not going to get the most out of the intake and cam. (Basically restricting the engine due to not enough air flow characteristics.)

Fuel Problem...it will require a bit more fuel but may be able to get away with 24# injectors and Mopar PCM.

Towing...I wouldn't. The cam and intake make all the power from 2500rpm+...not lower end.

On the other person running the same combo but with the 2.02 R/T heads...I can understand why he/she needed the SS controller.

Haven't heard of this "split-second" controller. Can you provide more information?

Thanks

Brend, I really want to thank you for your input. I was vitally in need of answers and you were there. If your ever passing through Tampa please send me an e-mail.

Split second controller is a fuel management system is designed to give one the ability to build their own fuel curve on a PC. However the current version does not interface with the mopar PCM very well (I think it puts pcm into a closed loop hence leaning out the fuel). Split second is coming out with a new box in about 3 weeks supposed to be awesome. Bernd @ speedtweaks is working with a fuel control sys. call hyperspeed it basicly does the same thing. But I'm no fuel controller know it all either.
