Message: We are working with Bernd right now (Sorry Scott got busy right after you called, I promise he will call you tomorrow). But as far as the drive train loss 25% is very common among all vehicles. For the 12HP you can look at the dyno figures, it will be more on you guys 5 speeds just by pure ratios. We will see though

Message: for starters this roar inc. needs to make a more inoformative web site that just isn't a bunch of pretty descriptive words and cute graphics showing BMW's and "carbon fiber" filters. I would personally trust a company that is better known and well trusted and specializes in domestic autos not Bavarian ones. I love my K&N Gen II FIPK and wouldn't trade it unless I hade some cold, hard facts not heresay.

Message: People...i've spoken with Roar Inc. and we're going to run a test locally. Scott and Chris are decent people who do believe in their product. While it did, at first, come across as an Infomercial...the theory behind their system does make perfect sense.
We'll find out as soon as I get the system and bring it down to the dyno on our 2001 R/T (Sponsored Truck).

Message: Give these guys a chance. They actually took the time to make a filter that is different than a K&N. Thats at least one thing they have going for them. Now all they need is to position the filter near the rubber flap so it can be removed to allow more cold air in. Add a heat shield (if its even needed)and I bet that filter might put out more than 12 h.p.

Message: Shove a nitrous nozzle up in that filter and it'll put out a LOT more than 12 hp.
