Subject: Torsion Bar Torque? IP: Logged
Message: I just rebuilt a '01 QC 4.7 4x4. I put a new frame under the truck. The question I have is, " My truck doesn't set as high in the front as the other 4x4 Dakotas. Could it be because the torsion bars arent tightened enough? Please respond!

Message: Have you tried turning the Adjust bolts clockwise to gain heighth? if you measure from the ground to the fender lwr lip, should be 36 1/2" high. rear is 37 1/2" high. this is my 2002 quad cab 4x4 measurements with the 265x70x16 wheels tires.

Message: No I haven't tried it yet. I kind of just noticed that mine sets a little lower than everyone elses.
