Message: I am thinking about purchasing some street scene speed grille inserts, and I was wondering if they would make my engine overheat. B/c of maybe a slight decrease in air flow I don't think they would but I would like to see if anyone else has had any probs. Thanks!!!

Message: landon, don't worry. I have the billet insert in my grill and billet lower valance insert. MY friend has the speed grill in his dakota and neither of us has had a problem. We have had them in our trucks for over a year.

Message: I have been kinda worried about the same thing. I live in Texas where the temp is in the 110's for a lot of the year. I think I might be okay since I got the Heavy Duty Service Group though.

My Dak has seen plenty of hot, humid weather since the speed grilles went in and there's been no problems.

Message: Cool. I was hoping that they wouldn't have much of an effect because they do look good. By the way Chuck, I really like the looks of your truck. I use yours as an example a lot when talking to friends about aftermarket body parts.
