Subject: Traction bars: downsides? IP: Logged
Message: I've been considering getting a set of traction bars to help with excessive wheelspin on my 4.7+5speed, is there any downsides to them? (ie: ground clearance, ride quality)

Message: Ground clearance hasn't been a problem at all. If you accelerated on a bummpy surface you get a bumptidy bump from the bars. Otherwise they've helped, NO wheel hop, I've also noticed less spinning in the rain. And more controlled launches.

Message: I don't know much about the traction bars but the roadmaster suspention has done wonders as far as handling and wheel hop. Feels like I added a rear swaybar. As far as added traction I don't know there is snow everywhere.
