Message: I love my little 99 V6 Dak Sport but would like to put a little more meat under the hood. Has anyone done a swap for a performance small block or even a big block V8. Will it fit? Will it work with my 5 speed manual and rear end? Will I run into any computer problems? I want a daily driver that I can play with at the track on weekends. If anybody knows of any articles published pertaining to this please let me know also.
There is no replacement for displacement.

Going from the time, money, and certification process (to get a new VIN number and be "legal" on the street), it'll cost more than a S/C for the V6. Have you considered that option yet? :)
There is no replacement for displacement...there's no arguing that one at all...but Positive Displacement works almost as well.
