well i got my computer on and the result is a 16.25 pass at 82.7 mph. it had a 2.25 60 ft. man was i happy. i didn't have my elec fan on the truck nor the ia8t adjuster so i think 15's aren't too far away. anyway, later

great time man, i recently tried mine at a local 1/8th mile strip
mine has a few things done like flowmaster, intake, pulley, 180 stat and autolites
i ran a 11.0 at 63MPH, that's my best yet after 4 tries
what's killing me is the 60' time of about 2.4-2.5
i have no idea what it'll do in the 1/4 lol

I have an 87 dakota which I have run 15.7 @86mph in the quarter. My 1/8th mile time is 9.8 . And my 60 foot time is 2.01. No computer, blower, and no nitrous. All motor. Carburated. What do you think of that.

my mods include a V8 TB, K&N, MSD coil, accel 8mm wires, autolite 3923, underdrive crank pulley, MOPAR Performance Computer, no cat, flowmaster,

it's a 95 x-cab v6 auto.
last night i beat myself i ran a 16.22 at 82.47 mph with a 2.2 60 ft.
i went to the new track in Assumption parish< called no problem raceway.

Sleeper318 - I agree with you but old Dave didn't say what engine/truck/trans/gear combination he has.
Dave - What are you doing special to get a 2.01 60 ft. time? That is closer to what a 14 se. vehicle would run and a good .1 better than most of the best semi-stock Daks. For instance: My 5.2/CC/auto/3.92ls gets 2.15s best and usually around 2.2 with no tire spinning on 15.0 and 15.1 passes. Give up your secrets. I could get high 14 sec. passes with those 60 ft. times.

Wayne Either old Dave has one mean stall converter or he's winding the engine at the line and dumbing the clutch. Thats one hell of a 60' time for a V6. Dave what kind of beef are you running out back? I could use some good rubber on that back of mine. hehehe. Wayne can you believe that Garyville guy. Ohhhhhhh I pray he comes to the meet with his truck. I bet he's just like that guy in Mississippi that has a gen2 with a 408 stroker with 18 poonds og boost and a 175 shot of nitrious that runs 9's. This guy garyville must probably took his friends time slip from a Camaro or something and post it like his truck did it. If he's all real he'll show at Baton Rouge. Which I hope does. I have a little blower also. Hehehehee!!!!

Sleeper, I'm glad you saw that Garyville guy. I wanted to bring him to your attention. If he is from Garyville, La. then he has to run at No Problem or State Capitol. We will find out if he has what he says he has. You might have to show him the tailgate of a 5.2. Hehe

ok well i haven't seen any 87 v6;s running that quick, i know of a 87 that now has a 340 in it, but it runs 13's. anyway ya'll can all awe at my truck on the 8th, and i just might have to show ya'll the tailgate of my v6.

How come only idiots with v8's are the only one's to talk trash or not believe it when v6's with out power adders and running carbs can out run some v8's.Sleeper318 if you look at the pics notice the vehical number on my trucks windshield and on the rear wing plate of my dragster. Do you notice any resemblence.

I have a 95 w/360 I'm look'n for some new idea's..
No i'm not trying to be rude or brag but, my dakota runs 12.50's w/1.6 60 foot times.Can't say what it runs in the 1/8 cause I grudge race that locally... this is a everyday driven truck with alot of miles on it, computer, a/c, loaded with the works, not stripped a bit...If theres someone w/some advise, please give me some.....

Wow much boost are you running to get 12's. Or are you bottle fed.
Don't say it's stock cause with out lots of boost or huge NOS shot no R/T does 12's.

Its not a R/T. Its a 95. Lighter truck with allot of mods. I never seen one run 12's all natural though.Better have a 14.5 compression ratio or something. How are you running a computer? 95 Dakotas didn't have a 360? What's the secret?
