Subject: removing the clutch safty switch IP: Logged
Message: We just took off my dads clutch safty switch on his 2000 dak with a 5spd and all you have to do is slide the clip out and take the switch off the pedal cut the wires and splice them together and then you don't have to push the clutch in everytime you start the truck and besides he has 14000 miles on it and the switch was already starting to melt the plastic it's a fire hazzard waiting to happen.

Message: Yeah, you should as long as you don't leave it in gear when you try to remote start your truck. Will have to start using e-brake when you park.
