Message: Yes, I have one and I love it. It is really a nice feature to have. I bought the one with the nipple on it, and you can hook a hose to it and drain it in the pan without any mess whatsoever. It also eliminates the chance of stripping the pan. It comes with a gasket and fits very nice. It has never leaked in 10 months of use. It really speeds up your oil changes, as well. If you have any questions, let me know.

Message: I saw this in a magazine. looks interesting. i dont have a 4x4, if i did i
would think about sticks and shyt when i went off road though. That
would suck, to have your oil drained out on the trail!

Message: I have them on all my cars, makes it much easier and does not leak. You would have to tear it off to get it to leak, fat chance of that. This little valve is tough.

Message: I agree with Rascal. It would take some serious abuse to get this to leak. If you damage this to the point of leaking, leaking oil would be the least of your problems. I can't think of a way to tear the valve up, and not damage to oil pan, itself.
