Message: I know that this same topic has already been posted but, I did'nt get all of the answers that I really wanted so, Who out of you 01' 4.7L guy's have installed a 70mm TB from Flowmetric's (F&B)? I was just wondering because I've desided to get one, instead of a set of JBA headers, the reason for that is because everyone seams to tell me that headers will only help in the high rmp range like 5500+, and a 70mm billet TB from F&B will give me an noticeable gain from take off all the way through and to top end, and even give a little more on take-off's (after the pcm learns you're new TB of course.) But if any of you can give me some info, and suggestions for a 01;4.7;auto;3:55 w/flowmaster;airaid(modified)IAT adjuster.
Thanks, jUSTIN

Message: Ive installed the 70mm TB along with the custom 4" I.P. Ztube intake. At first i couldnt tell a difference in acceleration. But after a few days the PCM adjusted and MAN!! What a difference!! It pulls harder off the line and keeps pulling harder into the higher rpms than it did before. I still need to go to the track to get some numbers to compare before and after. Its a worthwhile mod if you have the $$ to spend. If not I would reccommend starting out with a new cold air intake then going into the new TB.
