Message: Well all gears are pretty much the same and they all have the ablity to whining sound if install improperly. I know a company that sells all types of drivetrain components and offers a life time warranty on everything they sell. I'll get you the number sometime this weekend.

Message: I definately wouldnt say that they are all pretty much the same. I would stick with a good name brand such as Richmond. Lower quality gears such as Genuine Gear tend to be difficult to set up because of the tolerances they are built by. I know of several shops that won't even install Genuine Gear or other off brands. I have even had a tooth break off of a cheper set of gears. Clear as day, you can see about a 1/2 inch air bubble right in the middle of the break. My preference is Richmond gears. Try Drivetrain Warehouse or Randy's Ring & Pinion. They have ads in most 4x4 magazines and know a LOT about gears. Also, Summit or Jegs would be a good place to check.
