Message: Just wondering what kind of numbers anybody with this set up has? In three tries with the wife and a stop watch 0-60 (7.0-7.2). But her reaction time may be a little slow. Although if I strapped her to the back bumper she could provide a little more traction...Hmmmm

I have no idea what any of them do the 0-60 in. That's some BS numbers that magazines like to throw around. When you go to the track you get different incrementals on your time slips. On my truck, the speedo and tach are actually dampened and slow. You will actually be past 60 mph before your speedo shows it if you are flooring it. Some people with G-Techs could probably give you some numbers but who knows how accurate it would be. What part of the country do you live in? Is there any tracks near you?

Message: 1/8 mile 9.4 @ 74 mph (completely stock)
1/8 mile 9.0 @ 76 mph (with mods and slicks)
If you work these numbers based on a constant acceleration, (which is not true) you'd get 0-60 numbers in the mid/low 7's. I'd say it's safe to say low 7's for a stock 4.7l RC 5spd, if traction is very good. With Mods and slicks, well into the 6's 0-60 mph with very good traction (1.9 or less 60' time)
Not bad for something that weights almost 2 tons, and has the aerodynamics of a brick ;)
BTW, I'll be testing the F&B 70mm TB starting this week, hope to get to the dyno within the next 2 weeks. I decided to put the stock 65mm TB back on, pull the dyno, then try out the 70mm F&B TB to see what we gain, stay tuned......

Message: Thanx,
I was just wondering since this seems to be the quickest set up where it would fall in the big picture. You know faster than a 5.0 slower than a Camaro. I was really surprised to find out that its acceleration was so good. Go figure, I managed to sneak something as fast as a mustang past the old lady!
