Digest this and comments please. I have an 88 d150 running a 500 in 440 that has port fi and coil packs for ignition with a 950 cfm tb. I think I could tweak the stock 4.7 computer with bigger injectors,chip and buildup and adapt the 545 transmission to the rb engine. That would allow me to use all the 2001 dak computer processes. I think it could be made to work. What do yu dak people think? jimk.

So long as the firing order is the same,it
should work. The computer only knows what you
tell it. Ie , pretty sure its speed density,
and not MAF, therefore, it cant learn
