Subject: quiet high flow muffler anyone? IP: Logged
Message: does anyone know of a high flow muffler that keeps noise down? I wont pass inspection in RI, as loud as my truck is, until I quiet it down. Too bad, I love drivin down the street listening to the chirp of car alarms.

Message: I've never liked them loud anyway. I prefer the sleeper style. Let them think it's stock until the light turns green.
Loud after market exhaust is good for one thing: tickets.
All those morons with ridiculous after market spoilers, jumbo decals advertising the mods they have, slammed trucks (whigger-speak for "lowered truck") and obnoxious exhaust sounds might as well stick a big sign on the back of their cars and trucks that say "FORGET THE WARNING, JUST GIVE ME A TICKET, PIG!"

Message: I used Flowmaster 70's (22") for 11 years on two different Dakota V-8's. I now have a Magnaflow 22" on my '01 4.7 RC. Both sound great out the pipe, but you don't get floorboard buzz and interior noise.
