Message: Usually done with the heel-toe method - right heel on brake; and toe on gas. Some vehicle ergonomics work better for this than others.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Message: Yeah, not too hard. The foot will arc, so you can floor it while the brake is pushed in. It takes a little bit to get it accomplished. Or just hold the clutch and gas in, dump the clutch, then stab on the brake. It should work out all the same.

Message: haha...cool, thanks for the tips! Dumping the clutch then on the brake sounds kinda hard on the tranny! The heel-toe method sounds like it might put less stress on the tranny (clutch will take the beating though).
Tires...well, that's a different story!

Message: I just do it for 2nd and 3rd gear and let off the brake and let her roll. There really is no need for 1st gear. TOO LOW!
