Message: Looks like specs for a race setup. Certainly not a daily driver. You'll probably hit top speed real fast with that axle ratio and those dinky tires. And all the (usable) power will be high on the RPM band.

Message: Your speeds are going to be real low with tires that small and 4.56 gears. If you are going to go that small with the tires, I wouldn't go any lower than stock 3.92s.

Message: If you told us what your inteded goal is for the truck - drag, street, daily driver, towing, etc. we would have plenty of good opinions to offer. Not knowing what you want to do puts us in the same position as the phone salesman - recommending meaningless, but expensive, parts.

Message: what ever way you do it, use a powertrax locker. installs in 1 hour or so without even pulling the differential out. easy....easy.

Message: I have 4.56 gears and the stock 4X4 height 29" tires. It is absolutely perfect in the city but slightly on the annoying side if you do 80MPH on the freeway a lot.
I coudn't imagine having 26" tires with my setup. :p
If you want to drive at steady highway speeds 4.10's and those tires would still be plenty low. If you are just going to drag race it maybe the 4.56 will be ok, but you will probably be needing OD before you get to the end of the track.
I may be going to 32" tires next time around which should bring me good on the highway again and still overall good in the city as well.
I could only imagine a 2WD with the build you are looking into. It could be fun.

Message: i agree with modain. is the truck use going to be 95% strip / 5% street or vice versa? that will play a big part in how you need to proceed.

Message: What's the best KRC cam combo?
And has anybody used their ported heads? Are they worth it?
Also, I was wondering if anyone has changed converters in their 4.7. If so, which one did you use?
