Message: I have an 04 Dodge dakota
Its a 4.7 liter v8 2 door 4 seat club cab .
4x4 here is the problem. I have a borla exhaust that they say fits, Personally I think they are dumb arogant $hits that think they rule the exhaust world. This exhaust is not going to fit, not even remotely. To ass insult to injury they want to charge me a 20% restock fee for thier stupidity, cause hey they say it fits.
Magna Flow doesn't make one, I am cool with that...
The Question is... Does anyone Make a system for my truck??? Boy what a clusterfck
Cheers and thanks
JOE

Message: Try Gibson. I have a split dual cat back, exits behind the tires, not staight out. It's not quite the way I like it, I can see some pipe hanging from behind the spare tire, but it was inexpensive so I live with it, for now. I might have a muffler shop work on it.

Message: Yeah Thats what I saw when I ordered it. But both of those exhausts are the same, its part number 14900... which is what I have in front of me. I find it odd that they are the same number when the lenghts are diffrent. Either way when I called borla I was treated like an invalid. the Borla Exhaust is going back and I am getting another brand , one who appreciates my business. Borla has severely dissiponted me.... Legendary exhaus it might be, but the WORST customer service I have ever had to deal with, Barr NONE .

Message: If you know for a fact that the exhaust says it is supposed to fit your application and it doesn't, dispute it with your credit card company, just might save you $100.
I find it funny that they say 77.7" and 82.1" bed, but not regular cab, club cab or quad cab like most truck owners easily recognize.

Message: Go to a meineke, and have them fabricate you an exhaust. It cost me 200 bucks including the 40 series flowmaster, single in dual out, exiting behind both rear tires. Why the rear tires, so some jerk doesn't bend your pipes when they try to park and hit the rear bumper, but go under it.

Message: Like Ralph, I too just bought a muffler of my choice and had a local shop fabricate and hang the pipes, and weld the tips. I'm using a spintech muffler and have angled down pipes turned behind each rear wheel. I started with flowmaster but it was just too loud in the 2kRPM range--and that was the 50 series--but the spintech is nice and quiet when need be.
